What Are Discord Orbs?


Discord Orbs are a new virtual currency you earn by completing Quests on Discord’s desktop app.
You can accumulate Orbs and spend them in Discord’s Shop — no real money required!

What Can You Get With Orbs?​

• Orb-themed profile customizations,
• Avatar decorations,
• Nameplates,
• Profile effects,
• 3-Day Discord Nitro credits,
• And a special Discord Orb Badge for your profile!

Everything you claim with Orbs is tied to your account and can be used across all platforms — desktop, mobile, doesn’t matter!

How to Earn Discord Orbs


To earn Orbs, you need to complete Discord’s available Quests. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

• Open the Discord desktop app and click the “ Compass” (Discover) icon at the bottom left.
• Go to the “Quests” tab.
• Select the quest you want and click “Accept Quest.”
• Complete the quest objectives.
• Finally, click “Claim Reward” to add Orbs to your account.

Quests are regularly updated, so be sure to check back often.
Pro Tip: Get started by completing the Introduction Quest to earn your first batch of Orbs!

Where to Spend Discord Orbs


Once you’ve collected some Orbs:

• Head over to the Shop on Discord.
• Select the “Orbs Exclusive” tab at the top.

Here, you can see everything available for Orbs — and don’t forget to click “Show All” to explore the full collection!

Things You Can’t Buy With Orbs

While Orbs let you claim many items, there are some exceptions:

• Partner-branded shop items,
• Gifts for other users,
• Recurring Nitro memberships,
• Server Boost subscriptions.

Aside from these, your Orbs are yours to spend however you like!
