On June 10, 2025, the official Korean version of SRO—known to many of us as kSRO—introduced a groundbreaking new system that could change the direction of the entire game: the Relic System!
Relic System Update
A brand-new feature has arrived: Relic Runes have been added to the game!
What Is the Relic System?
The Relic System introduces a new type of equipment that grants your character additional stats and buffs. These items are not like traditional weapons or armor. Instead, they are equipped in dedicated relic slots on your character screen, giving you extra power on top of your standard gear.
How Does It Work?
3 new Relic slots have been added to the character equipment window.
Characters level 131 and above automatically gain access to the crafting recipes for relics.
Using a material called Destruction Element, you can craft one random relic out of 18 available options.
Relics can only be equipped by characters level 131 or higher.
How to Upgrade Relics
Press Y to open the Alchemy > Enhance tab.
Use Destruction Element again as the enhancement material.
If enhancement succeeds:
The relic’s level increases by +1
The used Destruction Element is consumed
At +5, +10, and +15, the relic’s bonus stats significantly increase
If enhancement fails:
Both the relic and the Destruction Element are destroyed

Relics are not affected by Premium Gold Time, avatar luck effects, or the +10% server alchemy buff
Crafting always gives a random relic
