SRO PvP Server Advertising Rules

Welcome to the SRO PvP Servers section.

This section is for promoting SRO private servers, sharing server information, opening dates, features, events, and official announcements. To keep the section clean, fair, and useful for everyone, please follow the rules below.

Before Posting

• Make sure your thread contains accurate and up-to-date server information.
• Use a clear title that includes important details such as server name, cap, race, opening date, or server type.
• Do not post misleading information, fake claims, fake player counts, or copied content.
• Server owners and team members are responsible for the content they publish.

Section Rules

1. One Thread Per Server
   
   Each server may have only one active thread in this section.
   Duplicate threads for the same server may be removed, merged, or locked. Repeated duplicate posting may result in moderation action.
   
   
2. Official Server Representatives Only
   
   Server advertisement threads should be created only by the server owner, an official team member, or an authorized representative.
   This helps prevent confusion, impersonation, and misleading advertisements.
   
   
3. No Plagiarism or Stolen Content
   
   Do not copy another server’s thread text, images, logos, banners, designs, feature lists, or descriptions without permission.
   You may only use third-party content if you have permission from the original owner. Staff may request proof of permission when necessary.
   
   
4. Website and Contact Information
   
   Server threads should include a valid website, registration page, or official contact method.
   Social media links such as Discord, Facebook, YouTube, or Telegram may be included, but they should not be used to mislead users or redirect them to unrelated content.
   
   
5. No Shortened or Misleading Links
   
   URL shorteners, masked links, forced redirect links, or misleading download links are not allowed.
   All website, download, registration, Discord, and social media links must be clear and directly accessible.
   
   
6. Bumping Rules
   • You may bump your own thread only once every 24 hours.
   • Use the official "Bump Thread" button if available.
   • Artificially pushing a thread with fake replies, alternate accounts, or coordinated spam is not allowed.
   • Posting meaningless replies only to move a thread upward may be removed.
     
7. Images, Banners, and External Media
   
   Images and banners must be relevant to the advertised server.
   Do not use images hosted on competing forums if they redirect users elsewhere, track users unfairly, or violate another site’s rules.
   Staff may remove broken, misleading, inappropriate, or suspicious media.
   
   
8. Accurate Server Information
   
   Your thread should not contain false or deceptive claims, including but not limited to:
   • Fake online player counts
   • Fake reward pools
   • Fake opening dates
   • Fake partnerships
   • Misleading “official” claims
   • Copied or manipulated testimonials
     
9. Respect Other Servers
   
   Do not use your thread to attack, insult, accuse, or defame other servers, owners, or communities.
   Competition is allowed. Toxic advertising is not.
   
   
10. No Unverified Accusations or Defamation
    
    Do not post accusations, scam claims, corruption claims, or negative allegations without clear evidence.
    Feedback is allowed, but it must be respectful, factual, and based on verifiable information.
    
    
11. No Malicious Content
    
    Server files, launchers, patches, websites, or external links must not contain malware, stealers, keyloggers, phishing pages, or harmful software.
    Threads containing suspicious or harmful links may be removed immediately.

Private Server Risk Notice

• Private servers are operated by independent owners and teams.
• Playing on private servers may involve risks such as server closure, account loss, payment disputes, rule changes, service interruptions, or data loss.
• Users join, play, donate, trade, or make purchases at their own risk.
• Players are responsible for checking a server’s website, files, rules, payment methods, and safety before joining or making purchases.

Forum Neutrality and Responsibility

• Elite Community provides a neutral platform for server advertisements and community discussion.
• Elite Community does not own, operate, verify, or guarantee any private server advertised by users.
• Elite Community is not responsible for the decisions, management, payments, punishments, disputes, bans, updates, or internal operations of advertised servers.
• Server owners are responsible for their own server operations, payments, services, promises, events, rewards, files, websites, and user data handling.
• Any purchases, donations, item sales, account services, or payments made outside Elite Community are the responsibility of the users and server owners involved.
• Elite Community may remove advertisements that appear harmful, fraudulent, misleading, illegal, unsafe, or damaging to the community.

Reporting Rule Violations

If you see a thread that violates these rules, please use the "Report" button.
Useful reports may include:

• The reason for the report
• Relevant links
• Screenshots or proof if available
• A short explanation of the issue

Depending on the situation, staff may edit, move, lock, merge, or remove content. Users may also receive a reminder, warning, infraction, temporary restriction, or ban.

Moderator Discretion

Moderators may review each case based on context, intent, severity, and user history.

Not every case will be treated the same way. Staff decisions are made to keep the section fair, clean, and safe for the community.
